A sidebar is a widget-ready area used to display information that is not part of the main content. On your website, it can be a vertical column on either the left or right side of your main content.
To add widgets to your sidebar, go to Global Appearance > Customize > Widgets > Sidebar.
You can add a widget with the “Add a Widget” button, edit the widget by selecting the widget box, or remove a widget.
