With any paid Hemp Sites plan, you can connect your own custom domain to your website.
When you first create your website it is created on a subdomain. This means your website will be located at xxxx.hempsites.co (this is selected during sign up).
While your website is visible to any visitors that go to that subdomain, it is best that once you have completed building your website that you update this to your own domain name.
Your domain name is the website address where you want your website to be located. You can purchase your domain name from various places for a small annual fee. We recommend Porkbun or Namecheap.
Connect Your Domain Name #
To connect your domain name to your Hemp Sites website, you will need to find the metabox under the “Account” page called “Domains.
You will be able to click the “Add domain” button and it will bring up a modal window with instructions. These instructions will include updating your nameservers at your domain registrar.
After you have added your custom domain you can edit your website at yourdomainname.com/login.
